CSU Learning Toolbox
This section provides you with some useful resources provided by CSU that will assist you in your general learning. Studying by distance education is far different to studying in a classroom in a face to face environment. One of the main pitfalls with studying by distance is that you do lack that personal contact and the ability to be a part of group learning activities that studying on campus provides. The University, to assist you in overcoming these problems, has provided a range of online study support resources for both DE and internal students. Some of the resources are links to Student Services' support programs for students. Others provide links to other student study resources located in other areas of the University. In addition, some mature age students will not have studied formally for many years, perhaps since leaving secondary school, and the reality of tertiary studies may be daunting.
Again, the online study support resources provided by CSU are a means for you to overcome some of those concerns. In addition to providing online support, these links also provide you with the means of actually talking with and discussing your problems with a member of the Student Services or library staff.
