Overview
This topic will introduce you to the concepts of hazard and hazard analysis, risk and risk analysis. We begin by exploring what we mean by the terms 'hazard' and 'hazard analysis' and their specific descriptions when used in the field of emergency management. We ask you to consider hazards of significance to you.
We then go on to consider risk and risk analysis and how the two relate to hazards and hazard analyses and fit within emergency management.
