An alternative planning process

In Topic 1 we re-examined an emergency prevention and preparedness model, initially provided to you in EMG101. This model contains the four steps from risk analysis to monitoring and evaluation. In Topic 2 we discussed an emergency management planning process, and looked briefly at the steps necessary for developing such plans.

There are, however, other ways of looking at these activities. Figure 3.4, called the 'Comprehensive Planning Model', provides an alternative view.
