Topic 4: Potential problem analysis
Overview
A very important part of emergency management planning is identifying things that can go wrong (problems) before they do, and developing strategies to either prevent them occurring or at least reduce their impact when they do occur. Potential problem analysis is a tool for determining possible preventative and contingent actions for a given problem. You will be working through some examples in this topic so as to become familiar with the process.
