Topic 12: The convergence of recovery management and related disciplines
Overview
Emergency Management sits at the confluence of many varied disciplines, for example Social Work, Environmental Management and Psychology. Some of you have studied this subject as an elective, while others will be working through the Emergency Management degree. Whichever group you fall into, by now you will have realised that Emergency Management is interdisciplinary, encompassing many concepts e.g. leadership and management, sustainability, and decision making. In this last Topic you have the opportunity to establish connections between Emergency Management and a number of related disciplines.
