Topic 4: Time and geographical implications

Overview

In this Topic you will be required to look at the time and then the geographic implications of the event you have chosen.

The time implications cover the relationship between the time of your selected event and how this affected the level of preparedness and the responses to the event. The timing includes the date (week-end/public holiday/week-day), time (day/night), and season (if applicable), in which the event occurred and the issues that this may have raised during the pre-impact phase of your selected event in relation to the level of preparedness for, and response to the event.
