I would now like you to examine the various pieces of information you have acquired relating to your selected emergency/disaster event. Extract the details relating to the various command and control structures that were used during the event by the various responding agencies and organisations and commence to draft your discussion on the Command and Control implemented during the impact phase of your event. Not only provide and explanation of the structures used, but also comment on the effectiveness of the structures, whether they were in line with pre-event plans and management arrangements, whether any alterations to planned structures took occurred and why, and finally, the strengths and weaknesses of the Command and Control aspects of your chosen event. These strengths and weaknesses will enable you to draw appropriate conclusions and make suitable recommendations in the final part of your major report (Assignment 2).
